Personal Security Detail (PSD) operations used to be the sole preserve of the Special Forces, Military Police & elements of Civil Police Units around the world; this has changed.

Lloyd-Owen & its alliance partners are now offering selected individuals the opportunity to train and qualify as bodyguards and PSD operators in this demanding and financially rewarding industry in a real time environment.

Many organizations are disillusioned by the standard of the "trained bodyguards & PSD operators" available for employment and immediate deployment. Lloyd-Owen are making this specialized training available in the Middle East to potential operators and those seeking to experience "real-life" operations.

All of Lloyd-Owens's instructors are trained to the highest levels and in many cases ran the Close Protection training programs in their countries of origin and for selected Governments. All Lloyd-Owen staff have operational experience on a global basis.

Lloyd-Owens's course in the Middle East is a twenty one day (21) residential course where the candidates will be expected to work 14 to 18 hours per day in a real time environment. The course will be held at the LOI/Hart training center in the Middle East and all candidates will be expected to pass the requirements in order to receive certification; this is not an attend and d pass course.

The course will involve several live exercises with the final test being a live PSD and Convoy operation in a high-risk environment.

Candidates will discover that the training gained through Lloyd-Owen and its alliance partners will give them a competitive edge over their competition and those claiming to have "real-life" experience.

The cost of the course is US$10,000.00.

This does not include the cost of the flight to the course destination. (Lloyd-Owen, if necessary can arrange the flights direct.) This investment in your career includes all the working materials, weapons, meals and accommodation for the course. This is a substantial investment but the candidates needs to bear in mind that many operators in the PSD field earn anywhere from $500 to $1,000.00 per day in a hostile environment.

Lloyd-Owen does not guarantee any employment and does not guarantee that each candidate will meet the requirements necessary to pass the course. The course is arduous and will be held in the height of the Middle Eastern summer. This is a course designed only for those persons who are seeking to seriously enhance their future employment prospects in the security industry.
